Daydreaming at the Saltram Orangery - Candle
Red Mandarin, Juniper, Sweet Orange, Bitter Orange, Neroli, Verbena.
"After walking around the historic grounds of the national trust property with friends, family and dogs who belonged to god know who there is nothing better than sitting in the bright Orangery bursting with cheerful citrus scents while sipping on Earl Grey."
Growing up in Devon Dan always loved walking around the many national trust properties. They all seem to roll into one green beautiful memory, the rare days of sunshine that we see in the south-west of England. You come across the great expanse of Saltram House or was it Mount Edgcumbe House (well according to Dan's friend Naomi this story is based there but its all a bit blurry), a peaceful Georgian estate surrounded by several acres of lush grounds. Towards the back of the property sits the original Orangery that makes the perfect spaces to watch the world go by with a cup of tea after a sunny afternoons walk with the dogs.
The scent starts with the zesty mouth-watering scent of Sweet Orange peel and the crisp citrus scent of steam distilled Verbena.
At the heart of this fragrance is the warmth of Bitter Orange and the heady notes from the bright floralness of Neroli that comes from hand-picked orange blossom.
This scent is held together with the fresh, woody and sweet rich balsamic undertone Himalayan Juniper that is backed by Italian Red Mandarin with its warm intense citrus scent.
